Find where your week leaks.
Workbridge maps the repeat work eating your hours, scores it by what it is costing you, and corks the worst of it first. The map is paid, and it is yours either way.
3–7 scored leaks. Quick Win in 7 days or the map is refunded.
You don’t re-plumb the house to stop a drip.
Most owners we meet have already decided the problem is the whole business. The systems are a mess, the team is stretched, and the software was chosen four years ago by someone who has since left.
Decided that way, there is nothing to do on a Tuesday. Rebuilding how a business runs is a project, projects need room, and there is no room. That is how a leak stays open for three years while everyone agrees it is a problem.
So we do not start there. We find the one place the week actually loses hours, put a number on it, and close it by next Friday. Six hours a week back is not a transformation. It is a Tuesday afternoon you stop spending re-typing quotes into a system that already had them.
Then you decide whether a second one is worth doing. Most owners find it is. Some find the first was enough, and that is a fine place to stop — we would rather you keep the money than buy a programme you do not need.
One leak, named and closed. Then you decide about the next one.
How the work goes
Three steps, in order. You cannot buy the third without the second, and the first costs nothing but a quarter of an hour.
Step 1
Find
Sit with the week as it actually runs. Name the repeat work in the owner's language, not ours.
Step 2
Score
Put hours and dollars against each leak, then rank by what it costs to keep bleeding.
Step 3
Cork
Install the fix with the owner, not around them, so the team can run it after we step back.
What a map looks like
Three to seven leaks, scored by what they cost to leave alone. This one is reproduced from a real engagement with the client details removed.
| Rank | Leak | Hrs/wk | Per month | Effort |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Quotes re-keyed into the CRM | 6.4 | $1,850 | Low |
| 2 | Tuesday dispatch built by hand | 4.1 | $1,190 | Low |
| 3 | Intake calls not logged until Friday | 3.0 | $870 | Medium |
| 4 | Supplier invoices matched line by line | 2.2 | $640 | Medium |
| 5 | Monthly report assembled in three tabs | 1.5 | $430 | High |
Effort is stated in words because that is how the decision gets made. The last row on this map was marked do-not-fix: it would cost more to automate than it returns. Read the full sample map.
One step removed. Six and a half hours back.
A plumbing contractor was writing every quote twice: once in the field, once again into the CRM the next morning. We took out the second typing in the first seven days.
Two other leaks on that map are still open. The owner decided they were not worth the change, and the map says so.
- Was
- 7.5 hrs/wk
- Now
- 1.1 hrs/wk
6.4 hours a week back, confirmed by the office manager three weeks later.
Three things, in order
Three things, in order. The free one is a conversation, the paid one is a map, and the last one is only available to people who already have the map.
A short call and a straight answer. We listen to how the week runs, then name the single biggest place it leaks. You leave with clarity you can act on alone.
- 15 minutes, one call
- One leak named, in your language
- A yes or no on whether we can help
- No build
- No proposal
- No follow-up sequence
The gift is clarity, not labour. Nothing gets built on this call.
We spend real time inside the week, then hand you a discovery report: every opportunity scored by hours lost, dollars attached and effort to fix. You own the map either way.
- Discovery report, 3–7 scored opportunities
- Hours and dollars behind every score
- Priority order and what it takes to fix each one
- Quick Win shipped inside 7 days
- No build engagement scoped or promised here
First Cork buys the map. The Quick Win is one small fix we ship in the first seven days to prove it — if it doesn't give back five hours a week, we refund the map.
We install the corks alongside your team so they own the running of it. Two calls a month, Voxer between, and a named person who answers. The bench is capped at six because attention does not scale.
- Two calls a month
- Voxer access between calls
- Done-with-you install, your team keeps the keys
- Standing review of what the corks recovered
- Not available without a completed map
Never skip the map into Concierge. No map, no install — no exceptions.
Whether this fits
This is built for you if
- You run an established service business and you are the bottleneck
- The third hire in a row turned out to be for paperwork
- Quoting, intake or dispatch is running a week behind
- You do six or more hours of copy-paste a week yourself
- Revenue grew and margin did not
It is not built for you if
- You are funded and shopping for an engineering team
- You need procurement, a security review and an MSA
- You want a stack opinion rather than a change
- You are sorting vendors by who has the cheapest chatbot
- You want free work first, to prove we are worth paying
We would rather say no early than take a seat from someone we can help. The bench is six.
Straight answers
The five questions we get asked most, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.
- Why is the diagnosis paid?
- Because it is the work, not the sales call. A free audit is a pitch with a spreadsheet attached, and both sides know it. Paying for the map changes the quality of attention on both sides of the table, and it means we can tell you the honest answer — including that you do not need us for the install.
- Will you build me something for free to prove it works?
- No. We never pitch a free build, a free pilot or a free agent, and if another firm offers you one, ask yourself what they intend to recover it from. The Free-15 gives away clarity, which costs us fifteen minutes. Labour is what you hire us for.
- What if the Quick Win doesn't work?
- Then we refund the map. In the first seven days of First Cork we ship one small fix. If it does not give you back five hours a week, you keep the discovery report and we return the fee.
- Can I skip the map and just hire you monthly?
- No, and this is the rule we break for nobody. Installing without a map means guessing with your money. Every Concierge client has a completed First Cork behind them.
- Do you replace my team?
- The opposite. Concierge is done-with-you: we install alongside the people who run the work, so they keep the keys and can change it after we step back. If a fix only survives while we are in the room, we built it wrong.
Start with the map.
Three to seven scored leaks, in priority order, with the arithmetic behind each one. $999 for a solo operator, $1,999 for a small team, and one Quick Win shipped inside seven days or the map is refunded.
